We asked for your views on Bahrain’s response to COVID-19, the support you need to see out the pandemic and the outlook for Bahrain and the Middle East.  Your responses covered a range of topics from ensuring public health and safety to foreign ownership of land and businesses.

On how the Bahraini Government has responded to COVID-19: “Earlier and more dynamic assistance, focused where it can help most. Decisive and competent leadership able to make an impact fast.”

On how Bahrain can become more competitive post-COVID: “Statement that it remains focused on being the gateway to business in the Gulf and will thus carefully consider any substantive changes to taxation, ownership or movement of corporate income receipts/funds. Greater determination in securing an FTA with the UK on a unilateral basis.”
