The British School of Bahrain (BSB) is a Nursery through Sixth Form school for students between the ages of 3 and 18. BSB follows an English National Curriculum model. Since its establishment in 1995, the school has grown considerably. Ensconced in magnificent facilities in Hamala, the school caters to more than 90 nationalities with 3000+ students.
BSB believes in placing the student at the center of their own education and that learning is a life-long experience. The school empowers and expects the students to strive for excellence, take on responsibility for their own learning and express and celebrate their individuality, hence the school’s vision.
Excellence, Responsibility, Individuality
BSB celebrates over 26 years of growth and excellence in British education and is a proud member of the Confederation of British International Schools (COBIS) and British Schools in the Middle East (BSME). The school is spurred on by its ‘Outstanding’ status in the last BQA inspection and by its accreditation by BSO (British School Overseas).
Today, BSB is a proud member of Inspired, a leading global premium school group, educating over 65,000 students worldwide. Integrating innovative, challenging and enriching academic, performing & creative arts and sports programmes are integral to the Inspired approach.
A major feature of the school’s development plan is to embrace technological advances, diverse and effective teaching and learning strategies, the best possible British International curriculum, delivered by appropriately qualified and experienced professionals, and active student voices. Each student is encouraged to play an active role in school life, both in and out of the classroom.
